Remembering What Matters in Teaching and Learning of Mathematics

Abstract

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in early Spring 2020, teachers moved quickly to distance and online learning. Unfortunately, this led some to revert to lecture- and worksheet-heavy instruction. In this paper, the authors remind us that online teaching and learning needn't be traditional or boring as they share approaches that encourage curiosity, creativity, and sense making.
