Getting Elementary and Middle Childhood Students Involved in Math Clubs

Abstract

This article describes the importance of using math clubs in grades K-8.  Math clubs are a way to help eleminate numberphobia which is an anxiety disorder.  Resources are referenced for developing a math club including suggested materials from MathCounts, Math Club, and Math Video Challenge.
